Create Your First Recipe

Time needed: 2 minutes

1Click "New Recipe" Button

Located at the top right of the page

2Select Finished Product

Choose the product you want to manufacture from the dropdown:

  • Example: "Burger Buns", "Custom Cabinet", "T-Shirt"

3Set Batch Size

How many units does this recipe make?

  • Example: 10 buns, 1 cabinet, 5 t-shirts

4Add Ingredients

Click "Add Ingredient" for each raw material needed:

5Add Labor Costs (Optional)

  • Hours: 4
  • Rate: P 50.00 per hour

6Add Overhead (Optional)

  • Utilities, rent, equipment: P 100
  • Other costs (packaging, QC): P 50

7Review Auto-Calculated Costs

Material Cost: P 155.00
Labor Cost: P 200.00

Total Cost: P 505.00

8Click "Save Recipe"

Use Your Recipe

Time needed: 2 minutes

Option A: Produce a Batch

  1. Click eye icon on recipe row
  2. Click "Produce Batch" button
  3. System redirects to Manufacturing module
  4. Enter quantity to produce
  5. System validates inventory
  6. Click "Post to HQ"
  7. ? Inventory updated automatically!

Option B: Create Job Card

  1. Click eye icon on recipe row
  2. Click "Use in Job Card" button
  3. System redirects to Job Cards
  4. Materials pre-filled from recipe
  5. Add customer information
  6. Add job details
  7. Click "Create Job Card"
  8. ? Ready to track work!

Choose units your staff understands:

  • Kitchen staff? Use kg, liters
  • Workshop staff? Use meters, pieces
  • System handles conversions automatically
Update Costs Regularly

Market prices change:

  • Review recipes monthly
  • Update ingredient costs
  • Adjust selling prices accordingly
Track Actual vs. Estimated

Use Job Cards to compare:

  • Estimated from recipe
  • Actual from production
  • Identify where to improve
Account for Waste

Add 5-10% extra to quantities:

  • Spillage
